Greetings. If I just missed a thread please redirect me.
I am a United Premier 75 member. I stupidly asked for an AS status match last year. My mistake. I used to live in the Bay Area and had earned the highest status on AS. But now in SBP and less opportunity to fly on AS as we do fly to SFO and LAX on UA.
I have a bunch of AA miles and would like to get more. Does AA do status matches? I have gotten those gold offers which seam to be the equivalent of UA silver. Not worth anything.

You probably missed the thread because AA does paid "challenges", not matches. Anyone can pay a fee for a temporary status, with a 90 day timeline to retain it by earning EQM/EQD. I believe the highest you can get is Platinum (50,000 mile traveler, UA/*A Gold equivalent level).
