Can't see upgrade request online or in AA app
Background:
1) booked flight for wife and I that had three segments - upgrades requested on all segments automatically 2) when I went to select seats, realize segment 2 (domestic) was on 788 so PE seats were available immediately 3) called AA to ask to be removed from ONLY segment 2 upgrade list 4) 3 weeks later noticed that there was no upgrade info at all on all 3 segments on website or AA (android) app 5) call AA to check, was told no upgrades requested and asked to be added to upgrade list on segments 1 & 3 6) after done, could still not see upgrade requests 7) called back to confirm upgrade request on correct segments and was told they were 8) still cannot see upgrade requests So, have others experienced (probably with unusual request path) circumstances where the website and app fail to display upgrade requests? |
Why remove yourself from the list for flight 2? Seems to have been the cause of these issues - you can have the PE DBA MCE seat and be on the upgrade list.
To answer your question, I have seen the app and website be screwed up, but it's never been an issue as it all resolves. |
