Anyone Else Having Issues w/ F Award Availability on EY, MH and QF?

For the first time ever in my experience, award space showing on all three carriers is not showing as available to AA. In the case of EY and MH, the space is showing on AA.com, but cannot be confirmed (same happens when calling) and in the case of QF, they cannot see the space at all, despite it showing as P2 on Expertflyer. Anyone else having similar issues?

So the call AA Australia trick worked a charm for the EY flight I wanted. Interestingly, it also worked for the Qantas flight. Still no luck with MH.

Kindly educate me: what's the "call AA Australia trick"? Thank you!

For reasons I don't understand, AA agents in Australia are able to see certain Etihad F/J award inventory that AA U.S. agents cannot see. So, you can call AA's Australia number (+61 2 9101 1948) and to book those flights. It also worked for me to book a Qantas F award from SYD to LHR.

Any MH "first" space these days is phantom -- MH rebranded their first class as "Business Suite" [distinct from just regular Business] and changed "P" class to a revenue bucket (when it used to be their first class award bucket).

Unclear if possible to book awards into Business Suite these days, but if so it can't be done online...
