Angry DFW A - Au Bon Pain gone (to merge)

That was my go to. What a waste--The amount of healthy food places at DFW are outnumbered by the number of fatty, greasy and unhealthy places like BBQ, fast food, etc.

Mods feel free to move this elsewhere but since DFW A is all AA I thought it would get the most traffic here.

Definitely not healthy, but their Sweet Cheese CroisBun is a guilty pleasure of mine.

Yeah tell me about it. When I was in a line no more than two people deep getting my harvest chicken sandwich one only had to look at a lime of 40 at McDonald’s.

You dare denigrate BBQ. In Texas.

Hope nobody is standing around you when the lightning bolt hits.

FWIW I went to Cousins BBQ at B and ordered what I hoped was the leanest thing on the menu--the smoked chicken sandwich. Just 4 cleanly cut pieces of chicken on a bun and that's it. It was very good.

Hard to believe something like this is true in the Dallas-Fort Worth airport

Piece of grilled fish w veggie sides

Is Au Bon Pain really that much healthier compared to McDonald's? Looking at the nutrition menu for both, it doesn't look like Au Bon Pain is really much healthier. A Big Mac has 29g of fat and 540 cal. Most of the sandwiches (especially the hot sandwiches) at Au Bon Pain seem to have similar fat and calorie content. There are also relatively healthier items at McDonalds (e.g., Grilled Chicken sandwiches).

I am by no means a fan of McDonalds, but I'm not sure Au Bon Pain necessarily is a healthier option in general. They're both fast food in my book.

I fly through DFW next week with the family. We have a long layover - will spend most of it at the club. But I told kids about Whataburger so we will definitely venture out to grab dinner.
