If I am reading this right, loyalty program revenue (sale of miles) was $708 million? (against pre-tax profit of $314 million):

Yeah, I assume the increased awards are PE awards. They also said that availability had an additional revenue cost.

I found it interesting that only Dallas and Charlotte got much print. There was no quality ratings mention and a caller was still upset about Kirby's departure.

I think corporate travel agencies are continuing to find the schedule and negotiated pricing at AA working best with a little extra concession for priority boarding and IRROPS even if not elite. They acknowledged growth in BE which is also consistent with my group 9 observations.

It's hard to get an accurate feel of the actual airline performance because the MAX parking clouds so much of the projections.

There were more AAdvantage redemptions in 2018 vs. 2017, and for a higher fraction of Revenue Passenger Miles, but AA doesn't say they were at saver levels, do they? :)
