I had this conondrum back in June. I arrived into C and was departing out of A on a flight to EZE (still annoyed they stuck it in A) with about 90 minutes. I went over to the FL and did not regret it. Self pour scotch, decent food, nice views of the tarmac. Definitely better than the standard AC experience.

Does anyone know if Flagship First Dining may be accessed by BA F pax who are arriving into DFW? I've read that it's available for departing BA pax, but wasn't sure if pax flying from LHR could use it.

Wonder with the joint AA/Qantas agreement, if Qantas first will have access to the dining.
I imagine access on grounds like these will stop sometime relatively soon. I'd assume that the access policy for BA F passengers is supposed to be only for those departing from DFW in BA F, and not connecting to another gateway. Like agents at JFK initially allowing passengers connecting from CX F, I imagine they will eventually be trained to a more specific policy, either when they notice that their access numbers are higher than they had modeled for, or when BA doesn't want to pay up for all the passengers admitted. Because I cannot imagine there is a world in which BA agreed to pay for FFD access for all passengers on an IAH-ORD/PHL/MIA-LHR itinerary in First.

I doubt anyone here knows the official policy, but even if the policy is technically departing F passengers only, the agents might not be trained specifically enough on that, and may admit you, since the agreement is new. This, of course, depends on your connecting to have airside access, and onto another OneWorld flight, in order to be able to access the FL.

Fair point. I didn't think about that BA may get charged back for each passenger admitted to FFD.

Went thru FFD this past week and here is what I thought:

— You are allowed one entry per visit. You can choose when you want to access but it is only a one time invitation.
— small bottles of Krug and I ended up finishing two of them
— I had the roasted redfish and it was pretty good. The breaded oysters were nothing to write home about and the Chile verde was a good starter. Sundae wasn’t what I expected in a sundae.

I would rather eat at FFD and then get on the plane and go to sleep rather than wait out the meal service. Flagship lounge had plenty of options of food and they had a station making street tacos. I did not eat anything from the FL lounge since I was stuffed at FFD.

Did they tell you this, or did you infer this from the single invitation that they give to you (and then take away)?

We've heard reports of multiple entries being allowed (I don't recall if any were specific to DFW).

I asked the lady in the FFD as well as the AAngel who escorts you. Both said it was a one time entry. You can stay in there as long as you like though and eat as much as you want. So I stayed inside most of the time and took my time eating, drinking and surfing the web.

Went back thru this morning and FFD was not open at 6am so no breakfast for me. All the Buffett options at Flagship looked pretty disappointing. grabbed a plate of fruit and hit up an Einstein’s instead.

At least DFW’s opens at 8:00 AM! MIA doesn’t open theirs until 1:00 PM.

My LHR departure leaves from A25 Sunday night. Ugh. It's a big inconvenience to trek all the way to D to hit the FL. I wish they would keep all departing International heavies at D. I'll just go to the AC in A now. Doesn't make sense to go all the way to D.

‘When did they start doing that? I hope mine on Monday is at D as I fly into D before my flight to LHR.

They've been doing this for at least a year.

That’s bad if my flight leaves from A because I want to see the Flagship Lounge. Oh, well. I’ll just wait and see.
