But I don't think the gate agent can see whether it was scanned at security or immigration unless there is something different at lhr than I remember.
the gate agent just sees where the person checked in. Also, they will put notes into the PNR at the Admirals Club to say you're there but there seems to be some debate as to whether the gate notices that.
