MIA-LAX: Lunch 2 pm or dinner 3 pm in F?
Please don't judge...when you search there are 2,000 threads about lunch, and the same about dinner.

We can leave MIA at 2 and be on a lunch flight, or leave at 3 and be on a dinner flight.

Substantial difference in F?

Mainline domestic F 1299-2199 miles? The main difference is dessert: cake with lunch and ice cream with dinner. Otherwise no noticeable difference.

Both are fine - fly the route that works best for you. Don’t do it based on food
luncheon should be the biggest meal of the day...

MIA/LAX/EUG. The 2 pm lunch gives us a 3 hour layover in LAX, the 3pm dinner gives us a 2 hr layover in LAX.

make a decision based on the plane- if it’s aa 321 take that flight. If it’s 737 you can get oasised.

Since MIA-LAX is over 2200 miles, lunch and dinner will both have a made-to-order sundae. Base your choice on anything else but not on the meal.

Exactly the same aircraft, so I guess there is no real difference.

Yes, that's what I did - chose the later flight with the 2 hr layover instead of 3.

These flights now only get a cookie for dessert during lunchtime. They still get the pre-made ice cream for dinner.

MIALAX is catered like JFKLAX/SFO. Three choices, and better than other domestic flights.

And aren't the lunch and dinner menus the same on these flights? I thought they were, might be misremembering, I fly Mint now.
