Can a AA award ticket be changed by email?

Hi,I have looked for a answer for this question ,but admit I have not call AA yet . I plan on being 50 miles from any cell service in the desert in Baja. There will be limited email contact if service by sat. is working . If forecast is good for a swell /waves to arrive I would like to change my return flight .Option to rent Sat phone can be $$ and I might not even need it . Can a change in my return flight be made by email ? Thank you

I have successfully made changes to AA awards when out of cell phone service via Twitter DM.

One of the perks of CK is rapid and helpful email responses on exactly this sort of thing. (Apologies for the non-helpful answer...)

whoops! Apologies; didn’t mean to be unhelpful in *that* way. CK = ConciergeKey , which is an elite level above Executive Platinum. Criteria for CK are not published and are not as straightforward as for the other levels, but effectively the criteria is “super profitable”. Note that many folks don’t have a great understanding of how profitable vs “super profitable” they are, so there’s a lot of misunderstanding and misinformation out there about CK.

Try Twitter, but it it’s anything complicated they’ll probably ask you to call.

You could also email a trusted family member and have them call on your behalf.

If you have access to e-mail, would you be able to use something like Skype?
