Bag check cutoff time?

Does anyone know if AA publishes the minimum amount of time you can check a bag before your flight? I've seen this information on third-party sites, but I would like something official from AA. There appears to be some domestic airports that have a 60 min cutoff, but I can't figure out which ones other than through trial-and-error. For example, at BOS I can't figure out if the cutoff is 45 min or 60 min before your flight.

I thought it was always 45 min domestic and the international times vary but are at least an hour.

https://www.aa.com/i18n/travel-info/...nd-arrival.jsp is where you'll find the exceptions.

General rule is 45 minutes for domestic, 60 minutes for international.

For domestic? TPA is my home airport and I checked my golf clubs on Monday around 55 mins before departure.

Time to merge all of these threads. There is one started about once a month which all directs to the same place right on the AA website.

That’s ridiculous- I know I’ve checked bags there inside of 90.

Apparently the check in cutoff for TPA is 90 mins according to this: https://www.aa.com/i18n/travel-info/...nd-arrival.jsp

Seems crazy high, hence I was asking.

45 minutes at TPA, even had a supervisor bypass the system and handwrite a lugagge tag for me after the 45 minute cut off once. One of the nice things of using a small airport where the check in staff, gate staff, and AC agents could get to know you, now I get to deal with MIA!
