119 people on an international flight?! That's nuts. I've seen 60-80 on some short domestic flights where every elite is automatically offered a comp upgrade (sub 500 miles), but 119 people using some sort of instrument (SWU or miles) on an long-haul is nuts.

Holy Crap! Longest I've seen was 40+ for a DFW to SFO route! That's insane! I hope number 127 didn't have high hopes heading to the airport!

I've seen 40+ on routes like DFW-MEM. I imagine some transcon routes can get pretty crazy too.

Longest I've seen domestically on AA was back in December on a LAX-DFW 789 flight. About 60 on the list.

Pure speculation on my part, but perhaps the high numbers are due to the fact that the 2018 SWUs are about to expire and many were gifted to folks going to AKL and back with many of the pax being low or having no status. It seems like it would be mostly a leisure route.

ORD-DFW last week was 75+ on a 787 with 28 first class seats. We will see what it looks like today.

Those are J seats. I think F is 6 or 8. Either way I've been on those flights and usually see lists that length too.
