None left, no.

There are still 3-3-3 MCE routes ex-JFK, RDU and LAX to LHR (and a few others via JFK), but otherwise PE seats are all sold as PE now.

Thanks for the speedy response, that's really useful. 3-3-3 MCE is the way to go then!

Indeed. Book it while you can! Those 12 772's will start to go to 3-4-3 MCE starting later this fall.

But those aircraft (12, IIRC) don't have PE on them yet, correct?

Thats correct.

Theres no stated, official timeframe for when they will start to be refitted with PE, but late fall is a pretty safe bet.

Looks like the 787-8 PE refit (and J seat reduction from 28 to 20) has officially begun.

Can anyone confirm if all of the AA 787-8's are receiving Premium Economy? I ask due to seeing an article on Aviation Geek, dated 7/24/2018, that says only some of the 787-8's will be receiving Premium Economy, if I read it correctly.

That's wrong. All 20 788s will be refitted with PE.

Now that the first one, N800AN, is on its way out of the shop - and with summer schedules wound down - we'll see the pace picked up on these.

Well, you did read it right. I haven’t read that anywhere else, but have not really looked, either.

They were actually pretty quick with the 20 77Ws refit.

It is the stated intent of AA to have all widebody aircraft not on the short retirement list (763, A330-300) to be equipped with Premium Economy, AFAIK.

American Airlines Premium Economy

I remember seeing a thread along these lines a while ago but cant find it. Can anyone provide an objective view of AA Premium Economy and, if possible, compare it to BA and/or VA (I have flown the latter two). BA are offering some decent codeshare prices for daytime PE flights to/from ORD on AA in early summer. The aircraft is listed as a 787-8 but I have read that they will all be reconfigured with the new 2-3-2 PE by then. I am vertically challenged so not too worried about legroom but would like to know how the food/beverage service is and what the cabin service is like. Also, for someone with no OW status, does AA offer a PE check in?

Thanks for any tips
