AA 777-300 vs LATAM A350 in Y

Looking at a cash coach ticket to Brazil and my options are DFW-GRU on AA 777-300 or MCO-GRU on a LATAM A350. I have never flown either airline long haul. The LATAM flight is $100 more.

Any suggestions or experiences to share? Thanks!

Do you have access to MCE? If so, AA is probably a better option.

Would go on a brand new Airbus 350 vs a 777 any day. Also, food on LATAM (even in Y) will probably be better. Remember, airlines tend to have you pay for the benefit of flying a brand new aircraft (just like AA does with their 787 routes). Well, they at least used to. I went from ExPlat to... braindead for AA. Aadvantage has become an embarrassing example of a loyalty program gone wrong. In fact, I fly LATAM to Peru 5 times a year and avoid the AA product every time. No regrets.

By now all MCE on AA should be 3-4-3. So for me the LA A350 would be the better choice.

You don't say where you're flying from...
If you're flying out of the way to get to MCO to pay more to fly the A350, you can certainly do that...

kayak mmm a350 doesn’t have extra legroom seats except exit row. aa 777 has MCE in the back middle section but it’s 10 across so very tight.
