That's not true about "duty of care" obligations. EC261 does not require payment of compensation for delayed arrival when the delay is due to weather. But "duty of care" obligations under EC261 apply even for weather-related delays.

I honestly would be very surprised if AA did this. But if it’s true that’s good news. Usually it’s not easy to get a hotel Even when mechanical delay happens

Does CZ flights earn EQD? I don’t see anything on AA’s website.

Does AA gift status?

I would think that this has an obvious answer, but I wasn't able to construct a search that picked up anything relevant, so I'm hoping someone here can help. Is AA known to gift status aside from Concierge Key invitations? I have $19,000+ EQD but less than 45K EQM. I'd love to get to Platinum, and I would think that AA would love to have me be Platinum if that means continued loyalty, as I am guessing I am already outspending a near majority of Platinum members (just a guess based on EQD requirements). There's a chance I might make Platinum but as of now unlikely. Is it worth submitting a request to AA to see if they consider it?

Thanks in advance..

It will be cheaper for you to do a domestic mileage run

Domestic and I didn’t ask why, I just gave it didn’t want to cause trouble with the older flight attendants.

Did you order a drink? Maybe they wanted to know you are over 21

U said it was at the gate. Was it a gate agent or a FA?

Here's a question. Currently Platinum, and have a CLT-MIA-GIG routing coming up. My understanding is that if you have an international outbound flight, Platinum and above are welcome to the Admiral's Club regardless of cabin.

If that is indeed the case, is that only airport at the airport where the international flight is originating? (I.e. MIA here). Or could I pop in at CLT with my MIA-GIG boarding pass?
