[QUOTE=kszary;30742241]BOS-PHX LAA B738 (non-Oasis). LAX LAA crew. Full bar PDB, excellent by-the-book dinner service. Pre-ordered diabetic meal -- everyone had meal envy. Other options were some sort of chicken and "lasagna", which is really more like a bolognese. Ice cream sundae or cheese plate for dessert.
Drink refills the ENTIRE 6.5 hour flight. Well done LGA has the same exact meal for diabetic lunches. I find that dish really bland and boring. Also carrots in 3 different dishes? I've never seen a shrimp cocktail app served with carrots lol. |

YOu always talk about how bland the meals are or too spicy, you travel a lot, why don't you bring some items to enhance the flavors with you? |

As this was a redeye, did you get a prelanding meal/snack (I believe a continental breakfast box)?

Does anyone happen to have the link to the old FA setup guides we used to share on here?
I lost the link I had and what I've found in the history of this thread no longer seems to work. Many thanks!! |

Seems like the lunch stuff has gone downhill with this new rotation. It was never AAs best, but still. Bad luck with diabetic meals lately, and the AVML wasn't loaded the last 2 times. Unfortunate.

Full PDB Diabetic Option https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...615757053a.jpg Given the standard choices (below), Diabetic seems to be the way to go out of MIA. Was on par with an international meal https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...7196fb4fe7.png |
Took JFK-LAX in F this month.
I actually thought the first course beetroot cured salmon, lentil soup and chicken parmigiana were actually quite good. From LAX, the lox and bagel weren't too bad either. I was kind of impressed. |

I do actually! I have hot sauce for the breakfast egg dishes and soy sauce packets which really helped with the chow mein bowl recently. Neither really go well with that diabetic lunch. Diabetic lunches out of PHL, however, is really good. |
