After 21 yrs of plat, finally made exp in 2018. Made exp again for 2019 w $14,998 EQD, 106,258 eqm and 19 segs Another rt this week, but on WN Been to some great places along the way in ‘17 & ‘18, MLE 2x, DOH, HAN, CMB, LYR, TOS 48k more to 3 mm. Had to laugh, when I was 248 EQM short of plat pro, got an offer to buy up for only $795. |
Obviously nothing compared to most on here but snuck in with a gold challenge at the end of the year ...

EQD - $16K EQM - 138,400 EQS - 70 Includes CC boost of $6K and 20K EQM Planning to drop to earning Plat in 2019 with $3K spend and 30K EQM + CC boost of $3K and 20K EQM.. For 2020> - just go back to UA and stop worrying about qual's with LT 1K. And just earn AA Plat for few times I need to fly a nonstop on AA. |
Sad but this year I am not going to make Gold. But really not all that concerned, now that I cannot get half price discount on Main Cabin Extra seating when I book, it is not that big a loss. I don't pay for my checked bag (work) and I don't put a bag in the overhead bin so I'm not in a hurry to board.
If Gold status would have kept the privilege to purchase MCE at booking I would have done a mileage/cash run to keep the status but without any discernible advantages why bother? |
