Just received an offer for Gold for $2,115. Flew 13,000 EQM and 1,000 EQD this year. Seems like a lot for free bags and stickers that I can't use.

On the bright side, it's one of the few things that AA gives and doesn't take away.

I got the same offer YTD $14,319 EQD and 88,319 EQM. Have enough flights to get to EP already purchased or on hold, so I think I'll keep my $2,645

I'm now up to $10,340 EQD, 91,975 EQM and 40.5 EQS and my offer changed to $1,895 for Executive Platinum. I'm still planning to get to EP via flying.

Do these offers change if you fly more later in the year??? Just curious why they would come so early if there still 2 months of travel possible. well 1.5 now.

Finally got mine. I'm about 1100 EQD and 10K EQM short of Plat Pro; they offered it for $1345. I'll make it on my own by year-end. Seems like a reasonable offer though if I weren't going to travel.

Maybe they are also motivating people to book flights because these come out with time to spare. I had Mrs. Deac83 fly to HNL, DC and Vegas instead of paying

Somewhat. I got an offer to buy-up to PP the day after I had earned PP. That offer remained available on the site for about a week. There seems to be some delay before the system recognizes when you've earned the status the old fashioned way. Now I have no link to buy-up.
