This morning’s flight from atlanta to LGA. Keeping that equipment in the air!

It's an outrage - I suppose its too late to contact AA to demand that the flight be cancelled.

Wonder if AA.com showed 2D as being available - dashing the hopes of some hungry FF for an upgrade.

At least you could unleash the inner child in you and kick the seat as much as you wanted during that flight.

Why should they be shamed? The flight has an inoperable seat, should they have cancelled the flight and inconvenienced 70 passengers? i have flown lots of flights where one of the seats was inoperable. The missing seat-back is weird, but I am glad the flight was still completed.

I am curious though, I think the seat back is part of crash mitigation (think of the crash position that passengers are supposed to take). Was 3D also inoperable?

ummmm brand standards for one, if they have anythese days 🙄 while we’re at it, that seat should have been repaired as I’m sure it didn’t just “fall off” over night

I have seen this before on one of my flights - some customers lack etiquette when reclining the seat pushing with such force a few minutes after taking off.

Granted this may not be the reason why this seat has been decimated but wouldn't surprise me.

with no setback pocket for 3D, where are you supposed to file the Barclays application that the credit card saleswoman hands to you ?

Doug Parker thinks it's cheaper to keep flying planes than do proper maintenance.

You should choose to see it as an upgrade for you. Your seat has an ottoman.
