Delay reason AA 1816 5:52 PM CLT - DFW Oct. 20, 2018?
Those of you who have access to such things; are there any internal notes about anything unusual on this flight?
Parked at the gate and when the chime went off the standard rush to the overheads begins. Then 3-5 minutes later the flight attendants direct everyone to re-stow luggage, sit back down and clear the aisle. When that didn't work any better than you might expect the flight attendants rather bluntly demand everyone re-stow luggage, sit back down, and clear the aisle.
Second try worked. Brief delay with nobody moving. Then two passengers from the back get off. Brief further delay and they release everyone else to deplane. Frustrated passengers. No explanation.
Police officer waiting on the jet bridge just outside the front door.

I suspect internal notes are supposed to stay internal...

Usually when a prisoner is in transport they get off well last, and AA doesn't want to make it obvious at all.
My guess is there was someone wanted on that plane, some type of arrest warrant, and the police knew they were coming and wanted to apprehend that person with as little conflict as possible.
It does happen. Police will come notify you that a passenger coming in has an arrest warrant and basically they are there to grab them. Rare, but happens.
