AA paper vouchers - what can I use them for?

On a recent trip stateside, my family were offered $750US each to delay to a later flight. We now have $3,000US in paper vouchers but when I look at routings from Australia, nothing appears on AA.com
and it seems I can only book on AA flight numbers or codeshares with an AA flight number.
We thought perhaps we could put them towards a wedding we are attending in Greece in July '19 however it appears we would have to route via the US which isn't appealing.

What would be the best use of these vouchers given the circumstances? Do they have any trade currency as lists our names on them and says only useable by named passenger or relatives?

Check the voucher master thread on the AA forum: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/american-airlines-aadvantage/578068-transportation-voucher-vouchers-mco-faq-master-thread.html

It indeed seems like you will have to route via the US for eligible AA-coded flights - this is not attractive at all.
There is no 'trade currency' for them. Your only and likely best option is finding someone who would be able to use them on a flight to or via the US and get them to pay you for that. You can redeem the vouchers for other people - AA has let me use vouchers for non-relatives with no questions multiple times.
