USA - Canada domestic flight for Credit card baggage purposes?

I'll bet this has been asked, but I'll be darned if I could find it. AAdvantage Platinum Select card says free checked bag on domestic flights. But Canada is a different country. So is the bag free or $25 each way?

USA-Canada is not a domestic flight. (BUT for credit card baggage purposes, it is treated as a dom stic flight.)

For the purpose of baggage fees AA includes Canada as domestic flight.

Confusing subject line, you even misled the all-knowing JDiver. If you want to ask about baggage fees, say "USA to Canada baggage fees" or ""USA to Canada domestic for baggage fees?"

JDiver missed the flight on this one, and even was at the wrong gate! But I’ll change the title so JDiver’ll pay more attention.

But that's a good thing - otherwise credit card holders would have to pay the bag fee.
