New gate display layout Jul 2018

Am at IAH now and noticed the screens have a new layout. I havent flown in a couple of weeks and the old ones were in place then.

this seems easier to read. The panel also cycles faster between UG, Standby, Codeshare partners etc.

Apologies if this was already posted.

More pictures from DFW. Pertinent information is CLEARLY displayed. "What group is boarding".. that question is now easily answered vs buried on a rotation that takes 1+ minute to display previously.

Well done by AA, IMO.

The blue in the center flares out toward the right, as if it was a section of the cabin with the wings towards the right. Well done, AA.

Going to miss the aircraft type at the bottom, although I'm sure it wasn't 100% accurate.

Seems a little much. And there's really only 8 since 8 and 9 are the same fare but two different routes. I find paying for group 1 works the best.

Very welcome upgrade. Someone actually took some time to research, analyze and test the UX for this. It may seem like a small item in the AA machine, but perhaps if they apply the same discipline on some other fronts...(dreaming )
