New gate display layout Jul 2018
Am at IAH now and noticed the screens have a new layout. I havent flown in a couple of weeks and the old ones were in place then.
this seems easier to read. The panel also cycles faster between UG, Standby, Codeshare partners etc.

More pictures from DFW. Pertinent information is CLEARLY displayed. "What group is boarding".. that question is now easily answered vs buried on a rotation that takes 1+ minute to display previously.

Very welcome upgrade. Someone actually took some time to research, analyze and test the UX for this. It may seem like a small item in the AA machine, but perhaps if they apply the same discipline on some other fronts...(dreaming
