Minimum flight requirements for status on AA

Hello,

I am Platinum on Qatar Airways Privileged Club, however due to the recent devaluation there I am torn between crediting my flights to AA or BAEC. One of hte issues with BAEC is that I have to fly four flights to get any status with BA which might not be possible, is there a similar requirement for AA? also if anyone does anything similar, which of AA or BAEC would you advise crediting the flights to.

Regards

Asif

Thinking you'd be better off posting credits to AA. But then again, I do recall, may have been a tear or two ago, there was a requirement to actually fly AA metal. Don't recall the number of times and with quick scanning of the link below, the info didn't jump out immediately.

This requirement was removed when AA shifted to revenue-based earning in 2017. See ARCHIVE / OBSOLETE: Four (4) Minimum AA segments required to earn / keep status

AA no longer requires four flights on AA to achieve or maintain AAdvantage elite status .
