Has anyone had any recent experiences here that they would care to report? I'm going tomorrow and would love some guac!

I doubt PA is going to implement any major fixes/upgrades to terminal A since construction is about to begin on the new Terminal 1 that will ultimately deprecate Terminal A.

Was open last Sunday with a normal temperature. Quite empty as well around 3pm which is refreshing after being subject to CLT C/D club.

didn't see guacamole

I wonder what factors go into deciding whether or not clubs will offer guacamole. I also asked about this in Atlanta and they told me they didn’t have enough space for it.

To be fair, the Terminal A space AA has is pretty small too at EWR. I used it a lot just to work, but the food options are quite meh...
