One way vs RT pricing: when did AA increase 1 way to Mexico?

Same criteria, NYC, MEX, fares from $491

Open jaw, into CUN, out of MEX: $509

One way NYC-CUN: $244

One way NYC-MEX: $367

I don't see a general one way or open jaw USA-Mexico problem based on those results.

Huh? One-way NYC-MEX is $367 and r/t is $491. I mean maybe that's not a "problem" but it's not how things have generally been.
