Basic Economy Carry-on Allowance of Statusholder’s Companion
Having trouble finding if the Basic Economy over head baggage allowance for those with status or eligible credit card applies to non-status companions on the same reservation. If I might run into trouble from the gate bag checker I'll just bite the bullet and check all of our bags, adding 30+ minutes to our trip.

Both Citi and Barclay state preffered boarding applies to up to 4 companions on the same reservation though. In practice this doesn't always print properly on my tickets although gate agents have never challenged me bringing a Group 7 customer into Group 4 before. A big B on the ticket though...

No comment at that gate, although gate agents seem to have backed off on the use of the bag sizer.

In all of my years with elite status I have never had an issue with my non status companion boarding with me when my elite class is called, even if on a different PNR (due to award booking and me paying for my ticket)
