Can't you guys believe this? He went on the tarmac and he runs around the ramp. He's trying to fight airport workers.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/...ers/384301002/

He should be arrested for trespassing and barred from airlines for life.

he stripped his shirt and ran at airport workers on the tarmac.
Obviously fake news, as we know there's no tarmac at an airport.

Charlotte gates can be way overcrowded and a bit claustrophobic in the scrum. Maybe he was justified needing to get outside for some air.

I love the line by person taking the video "that ain't going to get him back on" LOL. My guess is someone had too much booze, drugs or both.

Unquestionably, as there is no way he received the PDB on board

Of course I can believe it, because of this other shirtless guy at another airport recently:

Man vandalizes WN plane about to take off from LAX

No, I did not believe that. I will look into it. We'll check it out.

What he’s trying to say in reply is it can’t actually be “tarmac” because it’s Tarmac, but that’s actually a proper noun used for a particular type of surface that might be used on airports, roads, etc. But the proper term (unfortunately the news personnel all got it wrong,) is the “apron”. The apron is that area of an airport where aircraft load and unload, etc.

The FAA’s Surface Movement Guidance and Control System Advisory AC No: 120-57A defines the Apron as “A defined area on an airport intended to accommodate aircraft for purposes of loading or unloading passengers or cargo, refueling, parking, or maintenance.”
Very commonly, even native English speakers - even aspiring journalists - get this one wrong.

What are the apron strings used for?

English is an interesting group of languages.
