2017 Flight Credit... Which year will it count?

2017 Flight Credit... Which year will it count?
I have a flight that I took in Dec 2017 that I need to request for credit. Will it post for 2018 or 2019 qualification?

it will be for the year it was flown. So Dec 2017 will post in 2017 for the 2018 status year.

Can definitely attest to this. My wife and I had a flight that we took on Nov 1 2017 on a partner airline that wasn't credited until around Jan 10, 2018, but it was a critical one allowing us to both attain EXP again for the 2018 to 2019 cycle.
