AA Website/App not working [31 Dec 2017 / 1 Jan 2018]

Neither AA website or App is working. Can't login into either. App keeps saying wrong password and website just reloads the login page (with no error about bad password).

Have tried with family accounts, on different machines, and in different browsers.

Been happening since midnight CT for me.

Me too. Flight in 2 hours so lucky I already loaded board pass to wallet and also saved picture. This will be a cluster at check in!

I talked to AA web support and this is a known issue that they are working on fixing. Im guessing something happened with the year changing.

OK I'm not the only one then! I was about having a panic attack when it was rejecting my login with a flight tomorrow I was trying to check on!

Traveling on BA and connecting back to AA at LHR. BA couldn't check me in .. called in and was routed to CK desk who confirmed everything is down.

they said hoping things will be back up by 230 central.

IT supports indicated that Advantage accounts are all off line but if you have your record locator you can access your flight as a guest.

While you can see your reservation ... you can't get a boarding pass or do anything with it as of 330a central.

Just pulled my boarding pass for tomorrow's flight but oddly they say mobile passes aren't accepted in ATL. Not sure what is up but at least I have a PDF printable copy.

Mobile passes require airports without power problems.

Strangely ... the check in people at LHR seemed completely unaware of the issue. Unfortunately, the line to check in while in transit killed my lounge time A little surprised they don't have a priority line for transit pax at LHR.
