Given their roll out of Cole Haan Kit history, I am not very positive on that...

At least the bedding in J on LAX-HKG has always been decent. Honestly, I've always found AA's bedding to be superior. The mattress pad is much appreciated, as well.

On AA 26 (HNDLAX) and no sign of Casper anything. In fairness this plane left the US fairly early on 12/1. Will be interesting to see if they end up on my connection to DFW which is the NRT 772.

I can't even remember AA's padding for TPAC flights as I don't want to risk staying in Y for 15 hours (despite the good chance for LAX-HKG route for SWU to clear). Will have some TATL later and see how that goes. Is the bed the same for both TATL (specifically JFK - LHR/BCN) and TPAC (specifically LAX/EWR - HKG) (different AC but same Zodiac seat)?

TPG is reporting that, per a conversation with American Airlines, the bedding will be available on Dec 5 across all relevant flights. A hard launch across the system.

Can AA just start acting like any legacy based outside of NA. 34" pitch for every Y seat, Curtains between cabins, proper domestic F with good meal service, legrest, 50" pitch and lounge access. I mean this would come at the expense of auto-upgrades, but who cares right?

What exactly is the relevance of your comment to the discussion we are having here solely about Casper bedding in F and J?

Bit off topic, but if you have ever traveled short haul in Europe you know there are almost no “legacy” carriers with 50-in pitch or leg rests. In fact you’re lucky to get 34” pitch in the premium cabin!

i actually think AA has the most generous domestic legroom when compared to UA, DL and AS. I’ve been on some UA and DL flights with 36-37” in F.

Euro Business is a coach seat with the middle blocked. And, increasingly limited service (see also British Airways). I think that's more realistic than what you're suggesting.

I'm in LHR-DFW on Tuesday morning (Dec 5). I can't remember if this route gets the new bedding or not, but I will let y'all know.

Not even always blocked. SAS fills 'em up 3x3 in Business, although to be fair they sell and market it as a peculiar SAS Plus (sort of business but not really). And bonus for us all: there were reports that they'd begin selling the privilege of blocking the middle seat!

What's the verdict? I always miss these rollouts. I just flew at the end of November to Asia. Lol.

December 5 is the launch. So no one will have tried it yet.
