New Cookies and a Craft Beer on AA Mainline Begins Today (1 Aug 2017)

According to a few blogs, AA is offering Christie Cookies (apparently the same as the Doubletree cookies which are supposedly pretty good) and Voodoo Ranger IPA by New Belgium.

These will only be offered on mainline aircraft for now. The beer should eventually move to regional but not the cookies.

This is a small thing, but one gladly welcomed by me and others that would enjoy an IPA on board. Is Voodoo Ranger the best IPA? No, but a step in the right direction and more craft than Sam and Heineken.

I have a flight this afternoon so can report back if it has been implemented.

From New Belgium brewery I would rather prefer their Belgian beers, not their IPA's. Fat Tire is definitely better than anything AA currently offers.

They should dump Sam and add Fat Tire. But I do welcome the new addition.

They went big with the Ranger IPA. Good on AA.

Not bad, Ranger IPA ain't my favorite but still a very respectable IPA for an airline. I'm tired of SW's Fat Tire as my "craft" option when flying.

I wish I was a Millennial, but I'm 25 years off.

I've been brewing for 25 years and I always have an IPA on tap at home. Voodoo Ranger is decent and I wouldn't turn it down. Although, the VR double IPA is more my style.

As much as I love craft beer a simple Corona would do the trick

Very true, my priority: free>drinkable>craft, but most people don't think that way, best to sit up front and enjoy them.

AA 1886 PHX-SMF had the Voodo Ranger IPA on offer today.

Awesome FA Nancy offered various mixed drinks made to order, and toward the end came by with a tray with dry ice "smoking" and pot beer floats in F.
