Advice going through MIA
 
I have some flights booked on AA from NAS-MIA-JFK, transit time at MIA is 1hr45min. Will I need to collect bags at MIA and whats likelyhood of making it through passport control as a British National in that when coming in long haul to MIA I've spent hours at passport control

You clear customs and immigration in Nassau, so transiting in Miami should be like any other domestic flight. 1h45m is plenty to make the connection.
