2017 AAdvantage Kit - Received one yet?
 

Has anyone received their 2017 program year EP kits yet? My current card expired 2/28/17. Got a trip to Asia coming up and I hate showing up to the lounge with just Emerald on the BP. I guess I'm still paranoid from the US *A days and having to slay the LH Sen. lounge dragons in FRA...

But in all seriousness, couldn't find an existing thread so started this one.

When I requalified for EXP (back in August 2016) a few weeks later I got my new card with an expiration date of 1/31/2018, should I expect another mailing?

I qualified end of December and haven't gotten one yet. I've reached out via Twitter and they said give it until end of Feb (last month). Didn't come. I called AAdvantage Customer Service and they said they'd send the whole pack (maybe 10 days ago), still hasn't come. Addresses on profile are all good. Not sure what's up.

I requalified June 2016, and haven't received anything yet. It might be that I live overseas.

Interesting, my experience has always been that they get sent out en masse in Feb or March. But that may have just been with US however I feel like my last two AA cards have been sent around that time as well.

Qualified in early Dec 2016 and received kit late Jan 2017.

I received mine in late 2016 but I don't recall the date.

Don't recall when I got it but I just checked and the card I have in my wallet says 3/18 expiration so I guess I did already get mine.

I requalified for EXP last year in November (I think), and I got the kit in December with exp. date of 02/27/2018 (same design with the EXP card exp. in 02/27/2017). However, interesting thing was...I thought I lost the card with the 2018 exp so I called to requested a replacement card, took about 3 weeks to arrive. When I opened the card, the exp. date is the same (02/27/2018) however the card design is definitely different (nicer looking imo). :) Just a case point, so 3 weeks for the card to arrived at my house.

I live overseas as well (the cards/kits are sent from the UK for European members).
This is hit-and-miss. Here's my last few years:
2011 - qualified Dec.30, got the package in Feb 2012 (qualified for Plat in November, that card came in March....)
2012 - qualified in November, never got a kit
2013 - qualified in April, kit came around October
2014 - qualified in November, got an email in April '15 that the package was returned (I moved, my bad) and asked for updated shipping address. Never received the reship.
2015: qualified in April, no kit
2016: qualified in October, kit came in early December

Really? AFAIK the new expiration for all status (except perhaps CK) is the end of January - that is 1/31/xx (beginning 2018) rather than the end of February. So I'm fascinated you are seeing a (1) March and (2) Feb (and not even the last day) expiration for 2018...?

whoops not sure how I mis-read that, guess I just looked quickly at it and saw the 3 and 18 upon checking again you're right its 1/31/18

yes! got my kit today in the mail. requalified sometime last month... took about 4 weeks to get here

Yeah - different from my 1/31/2018 tags - and yes, I think these look cooler than what I have. Pity I'll probably not get the 2019 EXP tags..... :(

I got my new EXP card for 2018 today. Finished qualifications a month ago.

Qualified early December. Kit didn't arrive until Feb although they were promised early January.

I qualified in mid-December and got my package at some point in January with a 1/31/18 expiration date.

If you have the AA app on your phone, you can save the card to your wallet, no need to carry more plastic.

I qualified on the last day of 2016 and received the Card several weeks later. I don't remember the exact date, but my 2016 card expired prior to receiving it. Ps. I like the look of the new cards this year (except for that pesky 1/31/18 date)

If you have the AA phone app you can present the ecard from the app. Ive been sucessfully using it fro the last year with aa and partner lounges
