DEN-LAX Going Mainline?!

I was excited that when I booked a recent trip for November, flights between DEN-LAX appear to be on a mainline A319! I hope this sticks on this highly competitive route. I am glad to see AA upguage and defend itself!

That's all relative. The E175 is more comfortable than the A319 and has more F seats too.

This has also been mentioned in the following thread already: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/ameri...on-2017-a.html

I'd rather have the E175.

Much rather have the E-175. The A319 is the worst mainline plane in the fleet.

I have a trip to Denver in June from LAX. Originally booked on the E175 which I really like. It's been changed to an A319 which I really don't like.

Agreed about the A319 being a downgrade from the E175. On the bright side, it means LAX-DEN flights now depart and arrive at the main terminal instead of having to do the bus transfer to/from the Eagle satellite.

A319 has been the bane of my existence recently. Four 319 flights in past week. 1 upgrade. On 738s, Ive been batting 1000.

The E175 is great in coach as there are no middle seats, so I consider this a downgrade.

Yeah, the only benefit of this is no remote at LAX. Otherwise, it is a major downgrade.

Add this DEN based flyer to the list of folks unhappy about this change.

E75s are far superior to AA's A319s. Not having to use the remote terminal at LAX is almost meaningless consolation.

they also seem to have reduced a frequency on at least some days. Also a negative.

Do you mean all 175's go to a remote stand and get bused in rather than pull up to a gate? I didn't know that.

Hadn't really considered the upgrades upon posting. Yeah, in that sense, this is a downgrade for sure. Hot meals and the main terminal without the bus are nice, but not at the expense of poorer upgrade odds. Also, does anybody know if these are pmAA A319's or pmUS A319's? If its the latter, this is even worse of a downgrade.

They go to the remote terminal, not a remote stand. They pull up to a gate, but then you have to bus over to the main terminal.
