Maybe.....maybe not. I don't think ANYONE on these boards can tell you exactly who would or would not get CK. I have personally been surprised in both directions who does and does not get it (inside my company). I think its more than a simple formula (such as spend, position, etc) but I think we all understand this.

I will say this, while some of its services are nice, its not worth worrying about, so if you get it enjoy it cause it didn't cost its members anything (well, other than the tix perhaps) and a few extra services and assistance never hurts.

This intrigues me most.

If it covers pax missed flights along with canceled / delayed ones (regardless of why you / your flight did not leave as scheduled you are guaranteed a seat on the next flight to that destination) that would be kinda cool. Don't you LOVE FT speculation

I know I am replying to an old post - but -

Many CKs don't buy F domestically (companies don't allow it).

The biggie for CK benefits is new tier for domestic upgrade priority. A low spend travel manager (who gets CK) will trump a high spend EXP (who doesn't make CK).

It is a big deal worth worrying about.

We need to see how all this plays out.

But it has always been my believe that CK's should just be grouped with EXPs for upgrades priority - more so on the new priority order. If a CK is really a big spender than he/she will trump EXP by high spend. CK's should be buying domestic F in all cases - if not why make them CK. Even if you flew 100K miles on domestic paid F only (only need to fly 50K in this case)- you may not make CK.

CKs also do not have to pay the copay ($350 - $550) for an one-way mileage upgrade on international flights. Also a biggie.
