DFW-FCO AA240 PE or no PE?

Just a data point.
I booked to fly late April. At time of booking, the 772 had PE, now it does not.
Upon checking on AA, it appears PE is offered from May 02 on.
I thought all 772 retofit has been completed.
Confused!

I just booked a cheap fare, SJC-FCO $442 RT, with one segment on this new route. I was hoping to use a SWU but from what I'm seeing on EF it appears to be quite popular in J. My flight is not until the end of September but I'm not going to hold my breath that AA will open up any C inventory by then.
