Is it just me or are the carrots as an appetizer on Trans-Atlantic J-class incredibly cheap and unimaginative? Six-seven years ago I was tired with AA always having the same shrimp and salmon appetizer, but seeing this, I would be glad to have them back!

In September, from DFW to AMS, we got lots of carrots. A fellow moderator flying the same day from PHL to AMS was served the exact same meal.

200% agree. Utterly cheap.

"Hickory smoked carrots" - somebody's definitely smoking something!

For a number of years they were doing 3 slices of portobello mushrooms and 2 grape tomatoes on the 3-class J ex-LHR. That was embarrassing. I think 2-class J on the 763s got the seafood plate (at one point it was shrimp, smoked salmon and scallop!)

BTW, nice to see all the pictures and full menu cards!

Ok so has anyone actually had the red snapper tagine yet? Menu next week for DFW-LHR is not particularly appetizing. At least the new Cent lounge is open.

Selected the Potato Korma Curry on the return - any thoughts?

Flying DFW to LHR in F very soon,
I know what I will probably eat, but my wife is torn between the
Nori crusted Chicken or the Braised short ribs
what would you choose?

thanks

Is that bleu on top? Looks like it should be pretty good.

This actually looks quite appetizing. Could also be the camera and not the subject that makes it look quite palatable
