No EXP for me either. This is causing an issue, since my current card expired.

Is there an online mechanism to request a card or do you need to call it in?

You could send the AAdvantage department a note via the "contact us" webforms on the AA.com site. Or you can call and ask for AAdvantage Customer Service.

Qualified for PLT on 12/18 and when I got home 10 days later my 2014 card had finally arrived. Nothing for 2015 yet, but I ain't expect it to arrive anytime soon.

2015 Elite Status Cards (when are they coming?)

Has anyone started receiving their cards yet? I know the FF merger was a huge undertaking so I get that it might take a moment. In all the communication I've received or seen, there really hasn't been mention of when to expect credentials.

I know that OW lounges should let you in based of BP, there is always a concern that you'll get some pushback. I have some int'l travel coming soon and I'm worried that my expired US CP card will start getting pushback on lounge access and the drink/snack benefit.

Sorry if this has been asked already, I did a search of the forums, but there really wasn't anything I could find.

2-3 weeks

I wrote to AAdvantage about this about a week ago with the same scenario of upcoming travel. Their response was:

Dear Mr. sosfo,

First, on behalf of all of us here at AAdvantage® Customer Service,
thank you for being one of our valued AAdvantage Platinum® members.

You should receive your new AAdvantage credentials at the address on
your account in 2 to 3 weeks, but the benefits of your AAdvantage
membership are effective immediately.

To demonstrate your elite status before then, consider downloading our
AA.com Mobile app (www.aa.com/app). With it, you may display your elite
status immediately on your smartphone.

The 2015 "where's my card" thread may prove informative

That's very helpful. Thanks! We've merged threads to keep the decks clear, and added sosfo's post to the wiki.

I'm not sure if you can still do it, but I qualified for Chairman's after they stopped sending out CP packets and went online to print a card out myself. A few of the flight attendants have commented about how much easier it is on them to see that card than to look at a mobile boarding pass and read executive platinum when asking for a free wine bottle in coach.

If that option is still live online it might be worth printing one off, otherwise disregard this outdated advice.
