Thanks, I called Barclay customer service yesterday Feb 17th, 2018, and got a very good agent on the phone. He said it showed I earned it on Jan 6th, but the information had not yet been sent to AAdvantage. He said it takes 6-8 weeks, so I said it was already 6 weeks and in the past it posted sooner. I told him I would call back on the 8 week mark if not posted.

Well it posted today, one day after I called. I could not find it in my statement, but had to go back to an earlier screen. It now shows that the EQM and EQD posted on Jan 8th, two days after it was earned. Seems like the agent took action (unless it was coincidental), anyway it is posted which is what counts.

I read the t&c’s and I’m still not clear. Can I or can’t I buy a ticket within 14 days? Looking at more like 7 days out to get use of my 2017 cert before it gets to all the spring break restrictions.

Nope. Didn't have to separate. We were both on upgrade list and got upgraded once (both of us). Another flight they only had one upgrade available, so I declined. But they offered to me. Never did anything to the res -- booked via companion pass and left it alone.

Before the merger and when I was Explt I was 100% of upgrades on the Com Pass, man I miss the old days.

A few folks have already replied that it's not allowed, as a data point. I tried a couple of weeks ago anyway - it was a no-go.
