32B vs 321
mods please move to this to the correct thread if needed.
I've been looking at flights from MCO to DFW on March 5th, and I noticed that three flights are listed as 32B aircraft, but only one of those shows IFE on itamatrix. Do all 32B's have IFE, or have some of the 321's been converted to 32B with no IFE? Thanks. -Reece |
All 32Bs have IFE and are pmAA planes. All 321s are pmUS planes and have no IFE. No 321s have been converted to 32Bs.

Thanks!

There are also different types of LAA 32Bs. The ones referred to as "Sharklets" have standard domestic F seats, whereas the 32B "Transcon" has a 3-class configuration with lie-flat seats in F and J.

"32B" is used incorrectly by AA, as "32B" is actually the designation of A321s with Sharklets wingtip devices.
All LAA 321s are technically "32B", all LUS are "321". AA uses different safety card terms, which we often use here for differentiation: 321T (or A321T) = Airbus A321 Transcon three class service 321S (or A321S) = Airbus A321 standard two class service 321H (or A321H) = Airbus A321 ETOPS two class Hawai'i service |
