Anyone else been waiting 5+ days for ticketing? AA agent forgot to add the dreaded title and now it's been sitting around for a handful of days for the EY liaison to fix the title and process it. This waiting shucks!

I got it ticketed as my credit card is showing pending charges and AA ticket status shows "ticketed". I got Etihad confirmation numbers and was able to add passenger details and select meals but not seat selection.
When I click on seat selection, I see this message:
We are sorry but this booking cannot be changed online. Please contact us at 00971 2 599 0000 for further assistance

Any one else having similar issue?

I read people were able to select seats online... This is for business class reservation..

I doubt it, because it hasn't been possible for several years, and when it was possible it required a trick.

No one with experience on what happens with awards that expire without being ticketed?

They generally reappear immediately, but YMMV.

Oh,so seems like I will have to call that number and get seats assigned...
I hope there is no extra charge for selecting seats early..

I wrote a post about this a page or two back. Call them and have a supervisor email the liason to get it fixed otherwise its going to just sit there.

Yes they have messaged to the liaison 2-3 times at my request. Is asking to ‘email’ the liaison different than asking to send a message?

There is no extra charge, check the seatguru seat map and get the best seat you want.

Just put on hold two tickets in J for AUH-ORD in August 2018 through New Zealand call center.

Question for any that used New Zealand or Australia call centers to put reservations on hold, can you call US customer service to buy the tickets or do you have to call the same call center again to complete booking?

This happened to me 3x already, but I keep getting bumped from 101 to 103. I gave up trying to change back.

Incidentally 100 and 103 are the arguably less desirable times
