Let's hope things begin to improve and if not we continue to press the FA's to follow company policy.

So there you have it.

@AmericanAir 08/18 AA123 ORG No #PDBServed
@AmericanAir 08/18 AA123 ORG Full #PDBServed
@AmericanAir 08/18 AA123 ORG Limited #PDBServed

This allows all PDB service to be posted, good, bad, and otherwise. This should show AA that we feel this is a desired service. Maybe if someone gets energetic, a summary post could be done, maybe weekly?

5/28/19, flight 245, LAX/ORD, no PDB served. The service on this flight would be best described as perfunctory.

May 28 ORD-AUS Full PBD (a couple of rounds as we were stuck on the tarmac for about 1.5 hrs.) Excellent service overall throughout the flight.

5/23 SFO-DFW: Full PDB, excellent crew
5/23 DFW-DTW: No PDB, boarding process was a Chinese fire-drill with several groups unfamiliar to the carry-on policy. FA apologized and said they would get us beverages right after take off - in reality it was 45 minutes in the air before things started going.

5/28 DTW-PHX: Full PDB
5/28 PHX-SFO: Full PDB, good senior crew

5/30 (delayed until 7 am 5/31) 2738 ORD-DFW: Kindergarten tray. Didn't ask for anything else.

EXCELLENT crew, truly seemed to enjoy their jobs.

5/30 AA2055 MCI-DFW No PDBs
5/30 AA2271 DFW-PBI No PDBs

The MCI-DFW was on a MD-80 and the F F/A behaved erratically -- flubbed the safety announcement; bumped into seats and the bulkhead (hard); did not use service tray; and for cleanup, he pulled the entire gray plastic bin from the catering cart, gathering all used F service items (including glasses still with liquids), which promptly spilled and slopped onto passengers through the not-water-tight bin as he careened around the aisle.

5/28 AA 293 MIA-DCA: No PDB even though the flight left six minutes early. It's been a long time since I've seen PDBs consistently offered on AA. On several recently delayed DL flights, we still got them. Perhaps a thread is needed where AA hit this service standard, I think it would be a much shorter thread.

6/1/19, flight 2611, ORD/LAX, PDB service consisted of water, OJ, wine or beer but no cocktails. The service on this flight was very good.

6/2 1258 DFW-ORD: Full PDB and a friendly greeting by name. Guess she didn't get the memo about "Dallas" being PDB-free these days.

I've had eight DFW crewed 738's in the past week. All offered PDB's. In the last one, the flight attendant actually used that term. Many of the flight attendants were older, so presumably with seniority.

In one case ... a pax told the FA, you're holding up boarding just to serve these people, get real.

772 JFK-FCO standard PDB of bubbles, water, OJ
772 FCO-JFK and same bubbles, OJ or water. This time it was hand delivered to each person versus off of the tray which was a nice touch.

shout out to LAA NYC crews.....they’re consistently very good.
