Let's hope things begin to improve and if not we continue to press the FA's to follow company policy.

So there you have it.

@AmericanAir 08/18 AA123 ORG No #PDBServed

@AmericanAir 08/18 AA123 ORG Limited #PDBServed

This allows all PDB service to be posted, good, bad, and otherwise. This should show AA that we feel this is a desired service. Maybe if someone gets energetic, a summary post could be done, maybe weekly?

The last time I tried that was on a flight where I boarded last among those in F (though still with 10 minutes before we left) and when I said "can I have a drink now?" the flight attendant told me she couldn't for safety reasons but would serve me first after takeoff.

I give them points for getting more creative with their lies. I was once boarded with a 45 minute mechanical delay. I asked for a G&T (the FA didn't do an earlier PDB). I was told "we aren't allowed to unlock the liquor cabinet (this was mid-day on a Tuesday), but I'll ask the Captain". She never asked the Captain.

3/7 MCO-LGA, full PDB.

Not sure this offsets the other FA snacking in the galley during dinner service and then chewing while serving. Off-putting to say the least.

9 March - MIA-JFK - AA2572, pmAA - water and juice. Asked for beer, was denied. They were too busy chatting to be bothered.

Amazing laaaaaazy crew throughout the flight. Served nuts and drinks, followed by dinner. As trays were cleared a cookie was put down next to you. No smiles. No acknowledgments. After trays were cleared, FAs were gone.... chatting up a storm and drinking from water bottles.

Mrs and I had pre-ordered the ribs. When he got to us asked us if we wanted to try the pasta dish. I reminded him of the pre-order. Only then took the time to look it up. (I got the feeling they were looking to grab the ribs for themselves.)

I give this crew credit... it was the laaaaaziest aa crew in a while.

FULL PDB! I’m pleasantly shocked! I cannot recall the last time I had a PDB onboard this flight. Then again, I overheard the GA say there’s only 48 ppl onboard and maybe 6 in F, so the boarding process excuse is out here.

JFK-SEA 3/10 - No PDB at all; crew was busy in the galley chatting during boarding. Adding insult to this, just as the door was about to close on of the FAs noticed they only had 2.5 sleeves of plastic ups, they asked catering and they were told nothing was requested and the GA was pushing back on finding more cups (D0 you know..) to which the FA, to her credit, stood firm saying this is a 5.5 hour flight we cannot leave knowing that they do not have cups to at least cover 1 per pax. The captain came out and he agreed, they ran to another gate and got some cups fairly quickly and only delayed push back maybe 10 mins but I couldn't help but think: Had you done PDBs you would have noticed the lack of cups way sooner and avoided the delay.

Hope they enjoy doing those quick turns to CLT/ORD versus those longer flights/hours to SEA/SAN/LAS etc. JFK is circling the drain.......

LOL! Usually this one is packed because I think United’s last departure is around 18:30, two hours before. Might give DL a shot again between the ORD and DCA adds.

”Good morning sir, may I get you something to drink before we take off?’

Excuse me??? LOL 2 for 2 on this quick turn!

No PDB at all. Two people tried to give their jackets when stepping on the airplane but the FA pushed back saying “give me a minute, I will get to those
later” despite the fact that she wasn’t busy doing anything.

She insisted just standing in the galley saying a very unsincere “Hi” to everyone that was boarding.

Pilots got their PDB though :/

My wife was on Wednesday DFW - NRT. 2+ hour delay leaving DFW and no PDB in J. Seems highly unusual - typically water, OJ and sparkling wine, but zippo this flight.

Bolding mine... don't do this. Don't be that person.
