after 17 years in Aadvantage, I finally hit EXP when I had just turned 61.
(and sadly, I expect 2016 to be my last year as EXP... I'm hoping LTP isn't so bad)

Congrats OP!

22 for me -- fresh out of school and just another member of the new analyst army at a consulting firm...

Of course, I joined FT within that first month of travel too...

I made EXP the first time yesterday, at age 41.

Of course, I had been Chairman's Preferred on US for 11 of the preceding 15 years, but this is my first time being listed as EXP.

Guess it's time to learn the ropes!

23 back in my Siebel consultant days. Haven't been EXP since 2002, though with my next scheduled flight I'm due to hit EXP, on an ABQ-LAX American Eagle flight today!

I first made Royal Medallion (DL's top tier back in the day) at about 25; was status matched from DL PM to EXP when I bailed from DL at 38 and have kept it ever since (4MM+).

My son first made EXP at 6 and MM at 9. Was told at the time he was the youngest MM in the program.

US Chairman at 24 - been CP and/or EXP ever since. AA gold at 18. UA flyer before that. Mostly personal travel for my first CP (a couple of sub 500mile express trips for work thrown in).

made EXP in 2007 at 63 and have maintained until now. never flew much during my working days but began extensive leisure travel after retirement. i have qualified for 2016 but am quite sure that will be it and i (like billgrates3) hope that LTP isn't bad.

I get the same looks and enjoy it. I refuse to, but perhaps you should ostentatiously attach the EXP luggage tags?
