I do find the Wifi is hit or miss on speed. Videos tend to usually be the issue. But on the other hand it's great that many people are starting to use it - the promos seem to be working. Maybe they'll speed up the bandwidth if it's continually used.

The wifi is a Godsend to those who get bored on planes. The meals are great, and the digiplayers are fantastic, but there's points where you need something else to do. In this day and age, wifi fills that void.

AA179 JFK-SFO 0900-1550 EST seats 9 HJ
AA20 SFO-JFK 1830-2355 EST seats 9 HJ
tomorrow, Dec. 12, 2009. Many FT members have met him over the years, and many more would like to meet him. If you are on one of these flights, look for him.

Heh. Im on UA5 at the moment, JFK-SFO. Im already at about 125K on AA and not going to get to 150K so I am finishing up with a UA mileage run to requalify for 1K. They have started putting GoGo on the PS flights. It would be nice if the in-seat power worked though

Are you folks getting the strong head winds? We are taking a long time today. We got right out of JFK and are still tracking at a 30 minute late arrival. What time do you arrive at SFO? Depending on connection time I could drift over to the AC and say hi.

Interestingly this is the same plane I flew yesterday LAX and back this morning.

The Wright brothers' first flight (120 feet) could have taken place within the economy section of a Boeing 747-400.

In the 1960s, Mattel released a series of American Airlines stewardess Barbie dolls.

Just think, without this thread, we'd probably never know which four FTers were flying JFK-SFO on the same day.

As predicted it is time to remove "(suggested sticky)" from the title.

Oops! So sorry. You weren't relly left out, you just fell victim to my slow typing. The omission has been corrected.

Now I need to ask a favor. Would you please tell vasantn that his okie friends say "hey"? Thanks!

Be glad you weren't scheduled on AA20. I believe it's been delayed due to a lightning strike to the inbound.
