In the domestic lounges they should give you 2 coupons for premium alcoholic drinks or bottled water.
If you're lucky or find a good agent, they might be able to replenish your coupon supply if needed. |

Acceptable Beer:
Sam Adams vs London Pride (BA take this one IMO) Almost water: Budweiser/Dos Equis vs Heineken/Tiger (who cares) BA serves better in-flight food, wine and champagne for sure. Seats - The F cabins on any of the domestic AA flights are likely to be much better than the Club Europe seats. I noticed that you are also flying the Legacy US route from LHR to CLT which is probably on the A330. I think you'll enjoy this flight. The seats on that is better than most Club World seats IMO. It's an earlier generation of the same seats that you can find on AA's 77W J or Cathay's J. The reverse herringbone in 1-2-1. Admiral Clubs - well they suck in terms of food, drinks, champagne compared to the premium lounges in Europe. Other than that they are okay. Good place to relax or work. |

Folks just wanted to follow up on this.
I was super impressed with AA. I wasn't expecting much but AA really outdone themselves. I usually fly BA - the AA aircraft was much older which was a dissapointment as I'm used to newer aircraft but the service on AA as brilliant on every flight. Every FA outdone themselves. As a Scotsman I drink a lot. The FA'S ensured I had plenty of whisky, gin and kept refilling the little bowl of nuts everytime they finished (where do you get those btw?) In summary: older aircraft but the FA's made up for it. Definatley a much more personal service than I get on BA. I am now considering using AA more for my future flights. |

The good news is that AA's phasing out older planes and bringing new ones online. I've been on some ratty planes in the past but the general trend I've experienced is more newer planes over times. |
