Why they gave me .050 miles on British Airways & AA? Unacceptable!! I don't like that. Bring it back 1.0 EDM. I won't fly on AA for a while, unless if they improve the AAvantage program.

Yeah, that's a problem. I don't like that. Unacceptable!! In 2017, they will bring it back old miles again and also, bring it back 100% base miles, as well as get it back to normal miles again. STOP CHANGE THE PROGRAM!!!

That's not going to happen. If you're unhappy with AA, then AS at the moment is the best program out there. I don't like the changes, but it is what it is.

So you can earn 10% RDM on SQ or 25% on EK on a deep discount Y fare when they fly LAX-JFK ? LOL.
Look, this is simple; if you really want to fly the best product and disregard mileage acquisition... the door's open. It's been open for a while (VX, B6, etc.).

10% of lax-jfk would be about 500 miles, while 25% would be 1,250. So??? You're right at the "new" level for the cartel programs. No more 4,950
RDM mileage runs on transcons.
The mileage programs are no more FFP's but credit card award programs, the airlines just don't know the banks have made them their bit**e$, or are too incompetent at the top to stop it. As loyalty slides from these devaluations, this effect just becomes stronger.

I'm not trying to throw flames but what do you base your opinion on. Certainly none of the other FF programs are miles based for RDM. AA at least for 2016 remains with mile for mile for EQMs.

Not going to happen, unless the economy tanks and the airlines start losing $$. And possibly not even then.
I think most people here would agree with that, but it will not happen anytime soon, if ever. And you stomping your feet isn't going to change that.
