Why they gave me .050 miles on British Airways & AA? Unacceptable!! I don't like that. Bring it back 1.0 EDM. I won't fly on AA for a while, unless if they improve the AAvantage program.

I suspect you won't be flying AA for quite some time if that's what it takes to get you back onboard.

Or UA or DL, given the trends in FF programs.

Yeah, that's a problem. I don't like that. Unacceptable!! In 2017, they will bring it back old miles again and also, bring it back 100% base miles, as well as get it back to normal miles again. STOP CHANGE THE PROGRAM!!!

That's not going to happen. If you're unhappy with AA, then AS at the moment is the best program out there. I don't like the changes, but it is what it is.

According to current charts... a J fare AA codeshare operated by JL metal earns 3x EQM?

Look, this is simple; if you really want to fly the best product and disregard mileage acquisition... the door's open. It's been open for a while (VX, B6, etc.).
A $250 round trip earns 1,250 at 5/$ on UA/DL and soon AA. (WN at 6/$ would be 1,500 at that fare).

10% of lax-jfk would be about 500 miles, while 25% would be 1,250. So??? You're right at the "new" level for the cartel programs. No more 4,950
RDM mileage runs on transcons.

The mileage programs are no more FFP's but credit card award programs, the airlines just don't know the banks have made them their bit**e$, or are too incompetent at the top to stop it. As loyalty slides from these devaluations, this effect just becomes stronger.

An AA marketed flight in J earns that, yes.

Or... you could accept the reality that you are living in, figure out how to operate in it, and move on. Just a thought...

I'm not trying to throw flames but what do you base your opinion on. Certainly none of the other FF programs are miles based for RDM. AA at least for 2016 remains with mile for mile for EQMs.

Not going to happen, unless the economy tanks and the airlines start losing $$. And possibly not even then.

I think most people here would agree with that, but it will not happen anytime soon, if ever. And you stomping your feet isn't going to change that.

I suspect you actually all ready know the answer to your question, but it appears the poster is responding based on emotion (which is sort of the FT way) rather than logic...

I pray you all realize N830MH is kidding. And if not, I am compelled to believe it satirical given its silliness.
