Paris Travel Advisory


This information is current as of November 14, 2015
Airports affected:
  • Paris Charles De Gaulle, France (CDG)
  • Paris Orly, France (ORY)

A one-time ticketing fee will be waived for travel changes if you:
  • Are traveling on American Airlines
  • Bought your original flight before November 13, 2015
  • Are scheduled to travel November 13-15, 2015 to/through/from the affected airport
  • Are flexible to travel November 13 - November 28, 2015

You may also choose to use the value of the original ticket towards the value of a new ticket to an alternative destination within the ticket validity period.

Yes, you are correct. Security is getting more stricter. I doubt the borders security will be very tightened.

At this time there are reports of additional passport controls at CDG. Normally, there are no passport controls for flights to Schengen countries, but that is something that could be changimg at this time. There are also reports of border police units travelling to the borders with other Schengen countries to perform border checks.

When AA will resume flights to Paris?

Currently in the US and wonder if I should try to change my direct TATL flight to CDG (upgraded using C)

I'd expect immediately, there haven't even been cancellations by and large. AF's JFK-CDG late flights went last night as did AA's flight.

I am scheduled to fly to ORY tomorrow (through MAD) and my flights have not been cancelled nor delayed as of yet.

AA is currently operating a full schedule in and out of Paris. The only cancelation today has been AA49 CDG-DFW due to no aircraft (inbound canceled yesterday).
