Looking to get Lounge access with Credit Card

I'm starting to travel more lately and was considering getting a Admirals Club membership. I currently only travel domestically.

I was originally going to apply for the Citi AAdvantage Executive World Elite card, but then after reading about the Citi Prestige card, I was having second thoughts.

Seems that I would still get access to the Admirals Clubs with the Prestige card, plus other lounges, a $250 travel credit each year, and the offer of 50k thank you points can get me a statement credit of over $600 I believe.

Anyway, wanted to get opinions on both of these if possible. Thanks.

The AA executive mastercard was running a pretty good sign up bonus that would make the card really worth it...I think it was 75k miles on sign up. Not sure if that's still around.

Keep in mind the Citi card is just Admirals access, not membership. You have to be flying AA within 12 or 24 hours of your lounge access. Priority pass comes with this too and it's great for international lounge access (flying abroad) but honestly, I have rarely used mine domestically (I use AMEX plat, so use Centurion when I can).

Also, this post may be moved, not sure this is the correct location but I'll leave that to the powers that be to determine.

Well I think Prestige is the better option, it cost $450 but you get $500 in points (more with AA) + $250 now and $250 in less than 2 months with any airline (in gift cards). It came with Admiral and Priority Pass + 2 free guest (the only CC with that benefit).

In the other hand, Citi Exc for $450 with no credit but with 75K AA which worth a lot if you know how to use it, same AC access but no Priority Pass. Now if you spend 40k in a year, you will get 10K EQM on AA.

Remember, unless the terms have been changed, the Citi Prestige airline credit is neither calendar year nor member year. It runs from Dec. to Dec., meaning a person who gets the Prestige this month will have the credit reset again next month.
