Priority verification message on the boarding pass
 

I got issued a boarding pass with no seat assignment and with priority verification messages printed on the boarding pass. This was even though I had assigned seat.
What happened?

I have a connecting flight but that boarding pass has seat assignment and no mention of priority verification messages. Bit strange.

You must have lost your seat assignment for some reason--maybe they switched planes for the flight.

Physical boarding passes or mobile? Home printed or ticket desk or kiosk?

It was ticket issued at the check in counter as well as at the gate. Gate agents couldn't figure why. Also scanner didn't allow boarding so gate agent manually boarded me.
